DIY Nourishing Hair Serum

We've now entered frizz season and it's time to take matters into our own hands. Say sayonara to chemical-filled products and damaged hair. Our nourishing hair serum is easy to make and will keep your locks luscious and soft throughout the cold dry days.


Ingredients:

1 cup distilled water

2 tablespoons aloe vera

2 tablespoon of dried nettle

2 tablespoons of almond oil

5 drops Rosemary essential oil (find it here)

3 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil (find it here)

2 drops Lavender essential oil (find it here)


Directions:

1. Bring water to a boil, add nettle and remove from heat

2. Steep for 8 minutes and drain

3. Once cooled add strained water to spray bottle

4. Add in rest of ingredients

5. Mix well and store in refrigerator for 3-5 months


Apply to hair throughout day. If hair is damaged apply before bed. No need to rinse out.



A Little Bit About the Ingredients:

Aloe Vera- repairs dead skin cells and reduces dandruff

Nettles- promotes hair growth and thickness

Almond Oil- nourishes and strengthens hair

Rosemary- thickens and prevents hair loss (inhaling it improves brain focus)

Ylang Ylang- reduces hair breakage and improves hair texture (inhaling it increases libido)

Lavender- thickens and strengthens hair (inhaling it promotes relaxation)
