1. Inhale through your nose for a count of 4 and feel your belly fully expanding
2. Hold your breath for a count of 4
3. Exhale for a count of 8 as slow and controlled as possible
When you allow your exhale to be longer than your inhale the body to calms down, while holding the breath for short periods allows for the mind to focus and stay more alert.
Give yourself space 2 times a day to come back to this practice. Sometimes you just need to slow down, remain calm, and take a deep breath as life unfolds. You are alive, you are breathing, you are enough!
