2008 Events and Appearances
Join Rainbeau in Celebrating 30 Years of Harmony!
Rainbeau will MC at the Harmony Festival's 30th Anniversary Celebration on June 6 - 8, 2008 at the Sonoma Country Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California. This community action event is working with The World Family and Yungchen Lhamo Foundation charities providing aid in Ethiopia and Tibet, and Trees for the Future, which will plant one tree for each ticket sold.
Over 25,000 people are expected to attend, and Rainbeau will MC on the Community Stage, Main Stage, the Healing Sanctuary, and the Eco Village Stage, where she will also lead a Guided Visualization. Other presenters include Danny Glover, visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey, investigative reporter Greg Pallast, visionary and researcher David Wilcock, and more. Musical guests include the Mickey Hart Band, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, and Grammy Award Winners Damian Marley, Paula Cole, and Arrested Development.
The Harmony Festival has always been a green and charitable event. This year, its partners are supplying health care, vocational training, job opportunities, and more in Ethiopia and Tibet. Funds for The World Family go toward the green and sustainable building of The Yemegnushal Community Center in Gara Dima, Ethiopia; the Yungchen Lhamo Foundation seeks to address the dangers faced by Tibetans in the occupied territories of Tibet with a special focus on the needs of Tibetan women. Finally, the Harmony Festival's ticketing services company, InTicket, will plant one tree for each ticket sold through their association with Trees for the Future. Some of my friends shown include Greg Cipes and his band Cipes and the People, actor Keith Collins, comedian Jill-Michele Melean, publisher Nancy Bishop and actresses Leonor Varela and Sonia Rockwell.

It's always a pleasure to attend an eco-friendly event. The Global Green USA's 5th Annual Pre Oscar Party at Avalon Hollywood was filled with stars who wanted to help raise awareness for green climate solutions in our world. The party also benefited the green building of New Orleans. I attended with some friends and it was really important to be there especially when it's for a good cause. I think everyone had a good time going green at this wonderful event!
