HELLO! :)

So its been a while and I wanted to say hello – The last teachers training went great and I am so glad that we filmed it – so people like you who live further away and cant fly at the moment can still get some of what we had the best time sharing in. the student/teachers are amazing and I am  very excited to keep growing this very elite fleet – Are you one of the next to take that step with us?

As usual – when we give what we have to give, we spend a little time pulling back and just listening to the silence, soaking at the springs and meditating on the what the next step is. I am headed right now up to my dear friend, Mikki Willis’s (founder of Elevate Studios) and the director of the first of the series of ra’yoKa DVD’s is to do some brain storming. Like ra’yoKa, the philosophy is that if you only give, you fuse out… so, we draw in for a natural observational contraction and even chill a bit to realize what we are here to share next. The philosophy, is that we come in, or integrate to brighten, and then share out, to shine out and illuminate more – this is a universal principal that is happening – all the time anywhere – you want to open up, draw in and you want to strengthen, try opening up for a change. :)  I am so excited to be able share with you the tools that I have had the priveledge of sharing with many and hope to able to share with many many more -

Please answer the following questions to info@rainbeaumars.com and we will be picking random winners hope to send you a free DVD.

We greatly appreciate your feedback, comments and support and would love to hear some ideas about the following…

1. What’s your favorite type of yoga – is it gardening, surfing, ashtanga, martial arts?  After all – yoga means union.

2. What type of TV show would interest u? What would be interesting for you to be able to tune in and watch us do weekly, that could be both inspirational and fun.

3. What is the thing that you are finding about right now that excites you the most?

And I am off…. I promise, that I/and we are working hard, writing down content and refining what I/we am/are here to share – but because its a give and take, I would LOVE some more specifics from you, or how I/we could best share.

Many Blessings and at your service.

Indulgences – From a “Known Authority – Moi – :)

When I was about 17 – and yes – began to get concerned about the way I looked and felt – I remember my mother always checking into my eating habits and once came up with a her final observation of me “I am not worried that you would ever have an eating disorder.” “Why? ” I asked “Because you love food too much.” she answered with a smile and said the same thing a few years later when she would check in on me in my Los Angeles residence.

Thank goodness I had some knowledge at fingerstips, because if I learned anything about the process of life it’s that we expand and contract and expand again and without either being good or bad for both are necessary, we wake up, go to sleep and wake up again – remember, forget and remember again. The entire ra’yoKa system has this philosophy at the core – we must move to strengthen ourselves and we mustn’t  attach to any one of the sides, but to become better at the movement, to become a scientist/OBSERVER of fluctuation and change. Even when we expand can we stay just a little contracted or a better word is integrated and even when we are integrating/contracting can we stay a little open? In yoga I could say, can you keep some of the elements of the inhale when you exhale and some of the elements of the exhale when you inhale?

Here are the ways that I indulge and yet stay present with myself in doing so.

A. What we do most of the time is most important. therefore – rather then having a cooked food dessert ever day – I usually – stick with what makes me feel the very best and then-when I am ready- I absolutely go wild, let go, have fun and indulge – I GO FOR IT, while maintaining the healthy choices I will go into further detail about below.

B. I like things in 3’s – (I often teach in multiples of 3’s) So even though I am observing these habits and agree with the philosophy of balance and moderation – I usually am able to stay super committed to a total health plan for a 3 week period at least (it takes 21 days to break a pattern). Its a plan that always gives me a reference point to feeling so darn clear, energized and healthy that I always know its best to stay there and come back to as soon as possible if I have fallen off track. I figure, if I indulge for one day, one meal – or love myself, by not resisting to my sensations for few days, (cuz we know usually there is a day to counterbalance the first day) then its okay. I immediately notice, how “out of it” I feel, the cravings come back, the inability to wake up turned on, the decreased balance and focus and the increase of body odor… Yup… all of that… :) and I think – okay – that was fun… and… well… “NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FEELING GOOD FEELS” but at least I know that stuff is there for me any old time I want it. I also feel that there is only so much that the body is going to absorb if you do it all at once- but thats just my belief.

I stay totally committed to doing everything I know that will support my intention of feeling, smelling, tasting and looking my best – thats right friends – all of these are equally important. ***3 Weeks at a time, no matter how much I want something – if I know it will not absolutely support my optimal health and beauty – I just say yes – to my commitment. Then – it happens- undoubtedly with me – I love food too much – I love to indulge – and after all – I was always and am still a lover of roller coasters far more then ferris wheels. Maybe one day this will change, but as of right now – I have found a ride that works for me somewhat – other then- my secret wish that I could eat all the Dolmas, croissants, falafel’s or pizzas and still wake up with a perfect scorpion – but unfortunately, I have not found that to be reality no matter how much I work on my thoughts, as of yet. :)

1. If I am craving something – I look at the following things – If its salty – I need minerals – sweet – more protein – fatty – well more fat. Same goes for you – thats one of the way the body is talking. We do need to feed our bodies the things that it requires and the more use to eating food and keeping our fire stoked, then the easier we can handle these occasional indulgences.

For me, it’s when I am working hard, on a deadline – stuck in front of the computer (I respect writers immensely and think its pure mastery when they stay and maintain a great shape) I just have to give in to my craving to be able to get through the deadline and complete the task ahead.

- I do have healthy snacks around – but never junk-food – (the kind where you cannot even read  or understand the label) as I think we need food – the kind that is created by nature and not a lab. Delectable but allowable occasional indulgences *This will include, soy cuties, raw ice cream, gluten free waffles, rice chips, cereal and lots of chocolate(raw cuz its really just as good as the other stuff). Of course when I am on my game, I go for dates, with almond butter, kale chips, dehydrated onion rings and nut milk cheese – To be honest 0 it really is just as fun, without the food hangover.

Sticking to the total integrity and health side – eating foods that can be eaten raw like veggies and fruits, only cooking them with nice spices usually works for me – its the rice, potatoes, pasta, bread and chips that are really not edible raw, that well my body doesn’t love so much, while my taste buds an comfort food, memory place in my brain say YES, lets go back to what we knew.

2. I do my best to stick to “Gluten Free – and or Dairy Free” most of the time, if possible now matter how far I go… * Cooked foods and grains can cause mucus in the body – but dairy – well – thats pretty much known to be a very hard to digest food for most people. Same goes for wheat and or gluten.

*One of the ways to observe this is an issue for you is to first eliminate all these foods and then one by one reintroduce them and notice how you feel, itchy eyes, runny knows, fatigue?

WE USUALLY CRAVE WHAT WE ALLERGIC TOO… Little by little after too many times of feeling awful, the addictions kind of fall away – but like me – we are human and will want what we want. Here is how to stay connected even in your indulgences.

When you do it – do it right – a meal with a friend (or friends)- sitting down – give thanks -or a party, a celebration dinner.

3. Deep fried is probably also the most toxic – is there grilled – or baked? I don’t ever think of fast foods places (thats not true – I still remember the taco bell days of my youth) but if you read whats in alot of the stuff, and how rarely they switch their oil or find out whats really in those fries… honestly – hopefully you will just say no. try Sweet Potatoe fries at home or try to create that which you are craving out and make a healthier version at home.

4. Steamed is of course the healthiest – (non – dairy) Soups are always great. Have a great organic, whole grain bread and use coconut oil, instead of butter. _ or stick with flax and or buckwheat bread.

I go from eating all live food for a few weeks to vegan (no meat and dairy) – and even the vegan when eating enough chips of dough (remember gluten is glue) throws me off, just enough to satisfy my indulgences and make me come back on track once again. If I want fries – I would make sweet potato fries, grilled in coconut oil or olive oil and celtic salt. Its never a good idea to have MSG, chemical sweeteners and or deeply fried food (Japanese sometimes so this the cleanest) which are all considered cancer causing agents.

5. Avoid chemicals and synthetic colors and preservatives – have a healthier soda made with real ingredients or baked chips – I like rice chips-but I am now realizing they are fried in safflower oil. We love all those seaweed snacks. they are roasted in oil, but its always important to make sure we are getting as many nutrients, vitamins and minerals as much as possible, or we will continue to eat, until there is no more food. Cooking kills enzymes (the sparks of life) but you can still get some of the minerals and vitamins from the food.

6. When eating Mexican food  - Ask for Cabbage instead of chips – and enjoy fresh salsa and lots of guacamole.(even on a impeccable commitment) but other days – go for vegetarian fajitas and get corn (not fried) rather then four tortillas – have a burrito and have the rice, veggies and black beans.

* Garlic and all spicy food is considered thermogenic and  speeds up the metabolism, helping to digest the food as well as too many toxins in the body.

7. When eating Thai food (LOVE IT) and its usually super clean as well as yummy – Get the spring rolls with the rice paper that is fresh, rather then fried, try a lemongrass soup and get a good stir fry of vegetable with some garlic or curry sauce (which has coconut milk- try to avoid dairy) – We had the dessert the other day after jumping off a 15 foot waterfall 10 times and it was the grilled roti (we asked them to make it without dairy) still dough though- but so warm and guey and yummy and we ate it with mango sorbet.

8. When eating rice – wild is the best – black is the second best – or any other darker colors, then green pear, brown, jasmine, stick and suchi rice being the most devoid of nutrients. * Always go for the highest amount of nutrients – same when purchasing produce – offer the things with the darkest color is the richest in vitamins.

9. When eating at Japanese places (YUM)- I am sure to always have miso soup which is a greta digestive and plenty of ginger. A good place will always have a great seaweed salad. Sea Vegetable are high in iodine which supports are Thyroid and therefore metabolism. Things like daikon and seaweed helps to support the metabolism of fat. I usually choose great avocado sushi and marinated vegetables and if I was going on a limb, might be the one place I had a vegetable tempura roll, that I rolled in sesame seeds and put lots of wasabi in my soy sauce to help aid my metabolism and digestion. :)

**When eating cooked food take enzymes – especially if you are over 20 or 30 years of age. TAKE THEM EACH AND EVERY TIME. :)

- Note I do consider myself a “flexitarian” and if my body was craving flesh – non stop and I was super depleted – I have on occassion (I could count the times), give mucho thanks and have had grass fed buffalo burger or lamb. These are animals that are not being mistreated or pumped with hormones and antibiotics and if they really eat grass then I am getting iron.  But people- please note- most of the meat out there these days, is not raised on the right food to give your body the nutrients its craving.  If eating fresh fish  I usually choose salmon or yellowtail – Tuna is exceedingly very high in Mercury  (even before its placed in can) and well – the ocean it is unfortunately, not the safest refrigerator anymore (and well thats another blog). * On the most part I feel that I not only do better without eating animals, but would be so much better for the planet if we limited or even stopped this very imbalanced consumption. The carbon footprint is much too high and if we want to lead the change we want to see, starting by what we put in your mouth is something we could all do to make a difference. There are totally ausome – indulgent vegan restaurants that totally taste and feel if you are eating the real thing but will ultimately be far easier the planet and therefore ourselves.

When cooking at home – I use coconut instead of olive oil (it is more stable) – i tell people if they can make one change – this is the one. Olive oil is very unstable and have free radicals at a very low heat.

I always buy organic, from the ketchup, to the eggs, to the jam- We spend so much time getting chemicals and preservatives out of our bodies, why just ingest more? Note – there are some crops that are less sprayed, but know that strawberries, grapes and berries are the most highly sprayed.

We buy rice pasta over wheat – organic pasta sauce – braggs (amino acids) over soy sauce,  rice english muffins and good dark breads (always gluten and yeast free)- It has to be refrigerated – because its not just a totally dead refined food. I feel that everyone can look at what they are already doing and find ways to step one a little more closer to nature.

We make food – we create recipes I have the dehydrator going, we give it love, we feed people, we make things up, we use whole foods, we use yummy spices and we check out other peoples good food. After all it really is the kitchen that is the center of the home and the other stuff is just an extension.

I make amazing chocolates with raw cacao, cacao and coconut butter and agave – that simple – But there are tons and tons of raw delectable desserts (that are totally healthy for us) so we just have to look out.

SO I indulge- I indulge – I indulge – and ultimate I come back to my senses pretty quickly – being grateful that I have the tools to restore me back to my handstands. After indulging I usually feel like I need caffeine – So I drink Yerba mater – rather then coffee – rice milk over soy or dairy and I come home.

Oh yeah -and start right into my three week commitment to myself – the lemon kick (see beauty disciplines when you sign up for our newsletter) or maybe some water, lemon and apple cider vinegar in the morning – at the minimum vegan in the morning o if not totally live foods – eating lots of flax seeds and whatever is yummy to help me get there – organic jams, raw honeys and coconut butter of flax is what I am having this morning.

Kisses, laughter and a whole lot of good meals together. I hope to see you soon at my ausome mothers Holistic Living workshop or maybe a teacher training.

Bon Apetit my friends.

Bless.

Taking It To The Next Level

For those of you that have embarked on this challenge with me – or for those that are just tuning in – I hope truly that my choice to share my journey is of service and hopefully relatable in some way.

What an amazing thing and time… I love to witness that in movement towards true transformation, it is so easy to stay the same, but sometimes harder to permanently change, because our ego/identity struggles and tries to keep us in the comfort zone of who we’ve been and what we’ve known. Because this individual/personality – is like an old friend, or addict hanging out with the old friend and/or patterns.

Sometimes, I notice, we get on a fitness plan to reach a goal and or look good for a hot date, wedding, audition, photo shoot, job, vacation and if your like I was over the last many years, when the goal and task was completed, we name it celebration and we like to abandon our successes and see indulgence (which is sometimes negligence as a reward). You never know – I have always enjoyed that rewards (and you know what I still will from time to time)… but its interesting as I prepare for a climb that I never thought about in the past… aging… I realize that my overindulgence and falling so far off from my level of achievement, was more like self abandonment. Yes – I still neglected, abandoned, and rewarded myself by in many ways – going the opposite direction of my true passions goals and intentions. Its so much easier to keep it together, then have to pull it together – over and over and over and I think its time to get this. I am ready to take it to the next level.

I laughed and said “Its my Virgo rising chasing after and cleaning up after my radical Gemini sun” – I made fun and said – I am a felexitarian and I love to detox, so that I can retox – I could party with the best of them and always wanted to prove that as deep and as much as I love all thats divine – I love to unwind… but I am here with my heart open wider then even before and a readiness to live at a higher state of existence then I did in the last decade and say – isn’t it time that true change is created and emanated for even better results.

So rather then reaching a goal and then abandoning ship – I am going to take it to the next level. I am more dedicated then ever before to vibrate my healthiest and highest frequency – I am ready to share in the highest way possible and I am willing and ready to be of complete serve to other leaders that are ready to lead leaders… and for this – its about time to take it to the next level.

I love all my experiences – I appreciate – all the work (and fun) that its been. But now – I am ready – to go deeper, and higher keep walking grounded and forward and shine the light in to places in myself that I have possibly been avoiding for years. I hope your with me – I pray that my journey can inspire even one of you. I hope I am being authentic, honest, clean and real. I pray that the work that I do in the world is of value. I thank you all for your support in keeping this mission alive. Every little bit is like a vote that means the world to us. Thank you so very much for everything.

Blessings,

Rainbeau

WEEK 3 – Lets let go of all stress – and anything else we don’t need as well

Time to let go into the next level

We have embarked upon a moment in time. Its right now. Its called the “Present”.

We know that although sometimes we get mad at the last moment – then all it really does is cause us more pain by holding on to it. I say rename that thought, experience or person “teacher” give thanks and move on – in usual moments, after of course you’ve voiced the truth. :)

Stress has 84 thousand contraindications. Love is only healing. When we learn how to above all else, love and forgive ourselves, we also can spread the goodness into the people around us.

So we have a choice – each – and every -moment. To let go of the past – or hold on to it, along  with fear, shame, guilt, anger, pain a drinking or smoking thing, extra weight or any other baggage that comes along with it.

I challenge – both you and me – to take this moment in time even further and step up to ourselves in a really big way.

Because we can stuff things down with so many substances – lets truly give our bodies the time it needs to unwind to unravel and let go. We wont ingest anything that could possibly be making us sick and we will give our body the time and space it needs to recalibrate.

Hopefully by now – we have found natural ways to deal with that edge in a more sustainable way. hard core fitness can be a great way to increase energy and power, while yoga and backbends are a great way to alleviate anxiety and open ourselves up to the unknown. The ra’yoKa I created has the intention to do both and as we continue down the path, I hope we can always seek balance.

We want to breathe our bodies open from the inside, so that we dont avoid any of the buried treasures and pockets of tension along the way.

For the 3rd week – even for me this is a challenge – I propose the following.

1. AVOID CAFFEINE OF ALL KINDS… raw cacao is accepted in a shake.

2. Avoid all chemicals – the kind you eat and the kind you clean with and the kind that are in cigarettes.

3. Avoid stress – just make the choice – to avoid it. If someone beeps at you , or is taking too long on the freeway, or rubbed youthe wrong way, breathe, let it go and focus on how beautiful you really are and have compassion for there wounded little child as well as gratitude for the test and teaching.

4. Eat ALL LIVE FOODS – which will totally move you into a more alkaline possibly calmer person.

5. If you already eat all live foods – blend as many of them as possible, if not all of it the whole week.

6. Turn the TV off and avoid junk food reading and instead – try visulization CD’s a great book or a walk in nature.

7. For one of these days fast on only liquids – maybe water and lemon.

***If you’ve never taken a yoga class. Its time. Go to one… Break a habit…or start a new one.

8. If your an A type of personality and for instance you only go to a boxing class – try swimming – try pilates – try OMG a meditation or restorative class.

9.  A journey to the spa, or a massage trade, or a gift to yourself from an amazing healer – could all be worth the energy spent. ***Lets support our healers and while we are at it. become one ourselves-massage ourselves daily with lotions, do dry brush skin massaging and add great essential oils to the bath.

10. Choose to breathe deeply all day long, wherever you are and whatever comes up. Lets not point the finger outward. Lets let ourselves become masters of our own realities, by making a choice moment by moment, to breathe into ourselves and the very reality that we are creating.

No turning back. We’ve come this far – now – lets raise the bar.

Bless,

Rainbeau

Just notice -

what are the triggers that makes us want to quit – look for something to fulfill the void, with something other then our divine nature?

Is it when we don’t sleep or exercise enough, when that person we wanted to call us, doesn’t, or the job didn’t come through?

We come so far and then we let fears and doubts take us further away from our goals.

Its Cosmopolitan than says that success is the best revenge and I have to agree with that to some extent. Rather then giving in to a six pack of beer to numb the pain, a hamburger, plate of pasta or junk food reality television., we have a choice, to strengthen our ability to choose success. If we slide deeper into vacating our alignment with the actions that would be in alignment with our real goals, then we feed our belief that we are failures, if we do the opposite, we feed the strong muscle, that knows, we can accomplish anything.

Also- if we have a weak moment – We learn so much by realizing that hey, so what if we fell,  ”lets just jump back on into alignment with our bigger goals” – we cant let one failure be an excuse for another, but instead write about, observe and change the patterns by choosing to come right back on track.

Today – I did not take the time to do a full practice of yoga, nor did I the last couple of days, because of several reasons, I will not write at the moment and I watched myself begin to slip and sleep. in a nutshell, work, fatigue, meetings, etc…Yoga is my daily shower and the longer I go without the more moody I can become, but rather then needing a whole hour and half, what would it be like to shift inside, by doing a few minutes?

So – I choose to get back into alignment and I am going to the gym on this friday night (there are no Friday night yoga classes and I just need to get out of the house). I will be doing my ra’yoKa of course as I do in whatever I am doing, weather, i pump the iron that I do every now and then or stand on my shoulders. Wheever you go, there you are. Its just another place for me to practice who I really am.

So guys. Thank you for staying commited and remember that we are all in this together.

Blessings,

Rainbeau

“We have to Let go of who we have become so that we can be who we are.” Something I learned in M.I.T.T. and just about every other life experience, including yoga.

When we take challenges like this, (the 21 day challenge many of you have embarked with me – see Youtubes) we realize how many things we are still holding on to. These are the patterns/addictions that we get to observe that may actually be a distraction or working against our true goals and desires.

Day 8 – Write your goals again – daily or at the least, weekly check in: WHAT DO YOU WANT?

I want to be open, positive, in absolute trust and belief of myself and what I am here to do.

I want to be focused, driven and wake up each day with all of my actions participating in alignment with my goals.

I want to be abundant, prosperous with an amazing outlet for my career so I can serve in the most exciting, creative way possible.

To yourself be ever more personal *As specific as we can possibly be. I want be ten pounds lighter, have beautiful, radiant skin, I want my own book deal, television show, soul mate, new apartment/or mansion with a pool…etc…etc… If we don’t know where we want to go – It’s very hard to get there. If you want to go to Mexico, but keep looking at roadsigns to Alaska, we may be wasting time.  See and focus what and where you want to go.

Observe – I spoke or wrote in the positive – even if my mind went into the negative, I decide not to give it more power for my goal area (there could be a time to write down fears, like right before your ready to throw them in a fire, but not in your goal or vision area). We may think thoughts and then we give them more and more power by writing them – I thought fearless and then realized I was focusing on my fear.  I AM GOING TO DRIVE TOWARDS WHAT I AM FOCUSING ON, Hello Mexico, here i come – do the signs say, south and do I feel like I am getting warmer? :)

Observe – Just committing to a challenge is the first step. Its what we notice about ourselves in the process that makes a difference and by noticing that the habits and addictions live also within us that we can change them. Pointing our fingers at others is like sticking it into an electric socket. It gets us no where and limits are ability to change.

I noticed that even for me, its so easy to change focus on what thing to another – where and how I like to escape the challenges that are right before me, that are continuing to create anxiety?  I too may have a thousand things to do that are in alignment with my goals, but, at times I would rather check out, watch TV, eat again, talk on the phone – focusing on whats not yet right…Being that I am a flexible person – I allow this process to flow at times, lovingly and grateful that i have friends who we can be there for each other, without judgment, yet still notice – observe – write about it.

If its not comfort food, it may be smoking, dating, reality TV or magazines that make us feel better about ourselves – because there lives our even cookier then our own – or because we find ways that we can relate. For me it may be staying up late (way past my usual 11:00 bedtime-I was always a late nighter at heart) and therefore waking up late. I have observed how much time is spent on my daughter Jade (that’s a good thing) and now that she’s been on a little vacation and I have had all this time to get my latest book done,  I sill want to see people, connect, see what my friends are doing, HI FACEBOOK. talk, go out to eat.. and well you know – get happily distracted.. I love it – but and we come back – again again What do we really really want and what are the actions necessary to get there/

TWO MORE WEEKS TO LETTING OUR FOCUS TOTALLY MOVE TOWARDS LOVING OURSELVES ENOUGH TO REACH OUR GOALS.

CHALLENGE – LETS TOTALLY COMMIT TO TAKING THE NEXT STEP!

*If you are on strong caffeine, can you just kick it? Switch to yerba mate, or green tea bags they are less strong then the french brewed?

*If you eat meat, get your protein though vegetable sources – Just two more weeks…just like every other animal out there who is more genetically structures like us (Gorillas and Chimpanzees) we can actually benefit more from plant based proteins.

*If you smoke. Just stop – of if you need to go buy herbal cigarettes, if you smoke chemical sticks, switch to ultra light American spirits and just have one a day two at the max… better to quit all together.

*If you drink – just stop – we can do this TOGETHER – TWO WEEKS… no mind-altering drugs of any kind.

*if you are reading junk food magazines or TV – just for the next two weeks switch it. spend time with your brain placed on nurturing resources. of course. i recommend, Eating For beauty, Beauty by Nature and Rawsome and we have them here, but also I love the Sunfood Diet Success System, The Urantia Book and if your feeling creative, The Fifth Sacred Thing, 2010 or the Kin if Ata. :)

Lets stay present – lets stay focused and lets stay committed to our goals.

If not now – when?

If not us – then who?

WE ARE THE ONES WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

p.s. I recommend getting in that bathing suit (or birthday suit)and do an exercise in it at least once a week –  adorn yourself, enhance whatever good features you have.

P.P.S – I taught kicks yesterday on my YoutTube (the few subscribers to it, got to see it before I made private) and then realized even for me, it may give you the wrong idea of what I am trying to share. But I am here with you – we are in this together. It was still good for me to even tape it like that and I will be continuing to create daily content.

*Thank you for everyone’s support in buying the ra’yoka DVD or Yoga For Beauty and or the couple of books we carry– it means so very much to us. It’s also a great way to be able to practice at home in ones bathing suit and bring a whole lot more light to the situation. You also are helping to support our vision so that we can continue to follow our hearts and dreams. THANK YOU.

If at first we don’t succeed – try – TRY AGAIN.

if at first u dont suceed

Really everything we need to know about life, we did learn in Kindergarten. :)

As I reached up to the highest branch of my orange tree, that had the one ripe orange that I wanted to squeexe into my freshly brewed Yerba Mate, the old wooden table just came crumbling down and some of my flesh with it. Ouch! So after a few moans… I got right back up and used the more stable chair to get that same orange. its the second time I actually had a fall in two days. Last night being one in complete dark on a rock… it reminded me of this falling metaphor. Life will always teach us everything we need to be learning.

There is a reason that some of us stop taking risks, or we dont walk in the unknown, dark corridors as we may fall, we may get hurt, so we retreat, create shields and hold on to all our comfort for the lives of us, until we realize that might have hurt us even more. Imagine what our life would look like without the colors, experiences and even adversity that pain creates. That does not mean to cross the street, without looking, or to love a person with all your body and heart, without allowing their actions to show you who they are. There is a lesson in fear itself and a innate intuition in survival – yet – we also must expand, grow, change and hopefully evolve. Pain creates change, learning and depth-Pain is inevitable and suffering is not. Change is always happening and even if we are on track, we must continue to move out of comfort zone, to remain in the flow or life.

Those of you who know me closely, know that i like to eat, I like to play, sometimes indulge, do procrastinate (I call it pause time), I do take risks, I am not perfect, make mistakes, contract, expand, sometimes talk alot and other times not at all and I do my best to grow, learn and be a better person today then I was yesterday..I hope some of you can relate – but even if you are different, who are you, what is your manifestation of how you are happening right now on this planet? Yoga is a tool for observation – something that shows us places where we are right on track and at times..not so much.

So…Its day 5 of the challenge i committed to. Thats all – not even a week – and perfection is not what I am asking for, but its the intention towards us making little choices and actions every day that can help us achieve a more confident, loving sense of ourselves just the way we are.

Perfect in our imperfections and self loving even with our flaws or bumps and bruises from this journey called life – the amazing school of self discovery gives us a C- just so we know there is room for improvement.

Some tips – towards self acceptance and connecting to the innate beauty that already exists within us.

1. Spend some time walking around wherever you live (inside) naked.  - Do this fearlessly, shamelessly and remember that most animals dont have clothes to cover themselves up and hide. Let the sun see parts of your body, that perhaps no one else gets to.

2. Spend time barefooted with your feet on the ground and get grounded, connecting to the gravity of earth that provides support, health and just about everything else we actually need for survival.

3. Write about reasons that you may or many not be able to commit to yourself and what distractions arise.

4. FOCUS ON THE GOOD THINGS THAT YOU DO RATHER THEN WHAT YOU DONT DO. Whatever we focus on expands.

5. Spend time, loving your own body, by exercising, bathing and or massaging yourself, or all three. :)

Its that simple – or maybe not.

I could not do a handstand the first time  (or the first 100 times for that matter) and I did fall and sometimes a wrist hurts, etc..but I keep at it and I try to go with the flow of what each day has to show me weather is loans me a seeming dose of great confidence, expansion, outer or inner validation and sometimes great humility. I remind myself often that I am getting exactly what on some level my higher self is asking for.

I sometimes think I am right on track, only to find at times how little I know and how much there is to learn. Yet – I know that its having goals and the great yearning to be the very best version of myself possible, that keeps me coming back to the tools of self love and greater health that are here for us all, even you.

All we have each step of the way and to trust that we need to at least know what we what, where we are going and follow the actions every day, as much as possible, be in alignment with WHAT WE REALLY WANT and who we know we really are.

Thats all for now.

Thank you for your comments, questions, support , sharing with others and being here with me.

Hi All. Its Day 3 of the 21 Day challenge.

Its an important month. But aren’t they all? Major planetary changes are happening – there is a Soalr Eclipse on the 11th, school is out, there is a major holiday, people are going through a rough time while reality television shows its all fun and games and well… Isn’t about time that we get as healthy as we possible can be so that we can do what it is that we are passionate about?

Lets be Healthy, so the decisions that we make can come from a clear, activated place as thus far, the state of the world is only a reflection of that which is inside of us too – so I say – lets love ourselves in a healthy way and do whats good for the planet even more

Tomorrow, does not need to be another holiday, they way we did it last year. How can we celebrate the day of independence without necessarily polluting ourselves or the sky?

I challenge you to try to eat only vegetarian food the rest of the weekend. If it has cheese or meat, just say no – It less then a few more weeks. Choose Whole Grains, choose, organic, choose fresh!

Also – no matter what can you commit to some exercise time, to connect with yourself and your greatest desires.

After all – nothing tastes quite as good as feeling good feels.

Blessings friends and family and I look forward to hearing back from you about the changes you might be maing towards an even more beautiful, self loving version of yourself!

Salut,

Rainbeau

Hi All -

I am so grateful that you keep coming back, sharing your comments and insight here to this site and supporting the DVD and everything to come. I have committed to keeping this site up to date daily and with it, I invite you with me to join a 3 week challenge to creating more health and fitness in your life. Running and building a holistic lifestyle company has been challenging and humbling in itself, but I know that not only am I getting everything I need, more importantly want to really be able to give everything I am here to give.

Lets get back to basics –  Whey are we here? To judge, to wait until next year, to hold on to grudges? To wait until there is more funding? To wait on someone else to do it for us? I don’t think so.or to simply do what we love, share what we can share and have the utmost confidence that the world will respond in the way we would dream it to.

I have been pretty sure what I am here to for quite sometime and I encourage you to use this time to express what your passion about it. I believe I was brought here to learn how to love myself so much, that I could teach others to do the same. This may have been the most challenging things for me to decide to do with my life, but as life rolls on… I think I understand the sweetness and the points to the challenges that we encounter.

I encourage you to take a few minutes with me every day to love ourselves a little bit more. Especially during a time where there are so many global changes, it may be the time to connect and “work in”.  Health is definitely hot and so is self love. Perhaps the time that we take to work on ourselves and love ourselves more may end up reflecting in the other decisions that we make, such as the products we buy, who we support and how we are taking care of the planet, or not. I encourage us to continue a dialogue here, to ask questions and I promise to support you in the way that I want to.

Back to the challenge. Wherever you are – Lets Start here, there, NOW. No excuses and only reasons of the things that this life could be for us if we could get there.. in lets say.. 21 days! :)

1. Put on your bathing suit and find at least three things about yourself that you love and I want you to repeat that as a mantra over and over throughout this 21 day challenge.

2. Take an easy step – Also – I want to ask, that if you drink alcohol, you switch to organic alcohol, or top shelf tequila and if you drink coffee, consider switching to yerba mate, chai or green tea too much – no worries – baby steps- at least do the core exercise with me on the front page of this site- Its about the choices we take, moment to moment and that we care enough to choose the healthier options.

3. If both of those are covered – If you eat meat – try to find, grass fed or organic meat, eat dairy, the same.

Thats all – can we do it.. Just one step?

Its only 21 days – 3 weeks!

The health our planet depends on it.

Keep checking back during this 21 day period for tips, exercises and guides to loving ourselevs a little more and feeling more comfortable in t a bathing suit.
