10 MORE BABY STEPS ON HEALTH, INDIA FOR AN ENLIGHTENMENT INITIATION & “HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE”

Twenty Eleven has the pace of new times. If we are not part of the solution – we are actually part of the problem. As “my people” I know you are all doing everything possible. Here are a few bonus tips for extra remembering.

We just finished the highly successful 1 Week Live Food Chef Certification Class, pictures will be posted shortly, and we are on the final week of our 3 week Fresh Start Cleanse. I love that I feel closer to many of you, but especially those of you that have been participating with us in our ra’yoKa teachers trainings, GLOBAL CLEANSE or courses (virtually or in person). I feel like a citizen of earth and know that we are all in this together. Being part of the 3 week Fresh Start program in particular always enhances manifestation, clarity, self awareness, love and did I mention glowing skin and ideal weight? Be encouraged, optimistic and willing. Our health is priceless and truly the most important thing we can invest in.The next group will launch mid February, so if you want to do this together, just email info@rainbeaumars.com and follow the details to reserve your spot. Weekly teleconference calls, daily support emails and a manual will follow. Of course we will always keep updating new, fresh ideas and info here, so get your friends to join the newsletter and we can expand our ever growing community of healthy, beautiful radiant citizens of the earth.

Change a habit, change your life.
Change an addiction, EMBRACE FREEDOM.
NOW is the time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Taking it Further: 10 MORE Steps that you can take today to move in the direction of increased health.

This is a continuation of our last email located here:

1. If you are eating organic, grass-fed meat, try not eating meat for the next week or how about instituting meat free Mondays? Or only eat as an occasional side dish rather than your main meal. Watch all movies on the meatrix to help open your eyes, sober your mind but also laugh. It may not be necessary that we continue to cut down our rainforests and slaughter 18 billion animals a year to consume if we don’t need to.
2. If you are having organic dairy products, try switching to rice, nut or even organic soy alternatives such almond milk, cashew cheese or coconut yogurt.
3. If you drink organic wine and it seems habitual, try stopping for a few days/weeks depending on your habit or eliminating one day each week.
4. If you vaporize or still smoke marijuana, try not to do it for a few days/week/or more depending on your habit. Seek out alternatives with shamans and healers where there is intention present, permanent mind-body restructuring and spiritual teaching.
5. If you smoke organic American Spirits, now try herbal cigarettes or chewing on cinnamon sticks.
6. If you drink strong french pressed yerba mate switch to tea bags and green tea. Take your morning ritual to the next level by starting your day with 8 – 16 oz. of warm water, a capful of apple cider vinegar, fresh squeezed lemon and a touch of raw honey. Add a pinch of cayenne or cinnamon for that extra kick.
7. If you eat lots of dates and honey, stick to organic, 100% raw honey and slowly begin to eliminate any dependency on sweeteners. Eat fruits by themselves or in the morning. Sugar/sweets don’t digest on a full stomach.
8. If you are still eating white rice, pasta and flours switch to brown rice and gluten-free products. If you are already gluten-free, trying moving to “live” grains, grains that can be sprouted like quinoa and buckwheat. Take it to an even higher level and make a raw bagel with sprouted buckwheat dough and raw strawberry cream cheese with raw almonds.
9. If you tend to grocery shop at large commercial stores, like Costco or Walmart, try supporting locally owned stores like your local coop and farmers markets for fresh local, organic produce .
10. If you always drive your car to work, try carpooling just once a week or taking the bus or bike.
11. If you watch a lot of tv, try reading a good book that is inspiring and spiritually uplifting. Books are often times the catalyst we need to take that next big life transforming step. OR GO SEE A MOVIE LIKE THE ONE WE ARE MENTIONING BELOW…WE LOVE IT!
12. If you are bored or stuck in a rut, try giving more. The most important thing you can do is to take time one day a week to serve at company you believe in, an inner city program, school or nonprofit. Helping and serving others is the fastest way to help yourself.

As I prepare to make the jump into the next frequency, I have recently thought about the metaphor of parachuting. We know we are ready, it is time to try it, we want the thrill and the internal shift that will follow as the result of our courage… Yet still we want to climb onto the plane holding onto what we have known, only jumping if we know we will land the same, never foregoing our comfort zone. Holding on to the past can be toxic and today, we not need carry the extra burdens and baggage of all we have known. My challenge for all of us: LET’S JUMP! The parachutes are here! Lets hold hands and breathe – 1… 2… 3… Freedom and increased health are waiting. It is time for a shift. Let us look directly at our ego, excuses, attachments and patterns, and kindly ask them to please step aside. LET’S JUMP AND LET’S TRANSFORM without looking back. ARE YOU IN?

We are very happy and very grateful to our sponsors! UliMana has stepped in and made a contribution, as well as donating a proceed to the trip for every hot yoga band sold at www.yogaxbands.com. Thank you to Ulimana and your amazing truffles as well as support. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE “Urantia Book” School and its continued support in my family’s and my own life. If you have not ever picked up this book, please do so today. My next “jump” will take me to India in a matter of days to spend the first week of February with 10,000 monks, the Dalai Lama & my spiritual teacher over the last two years, Juan Ruiz! His Holiness will confer for the first time ever a ceremony of the Buddha Maitreya. I am so excited to be a part of this enlightenment initiation. With an open and humble heart, I ask that you please support our vision by purchasing our revolutionary virtual rayoka teacher training today, and if you are in the next 4 sign ups, we will send you a special necklace with the ceremonial blessings. You can also sign up for one of our upcoming trainings, retreats, purchase download or dvd’s. If you have already purchased our programs and would like to make a contribution of green energy in support of these endeavors, please, simply click here and use the email address rainbeau@rainbeaumars.com to help us do what we do best.

LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST – I wanted to share a really special treat with you. My friend, director, writer and “must watch actor”, Josh Radnor has won several awards for his latest film/masterpiece including the People’s Choice at Sundance. HappyThankYouMorePlease is a brilliant and refreshing embrace of human nature and a great perspective of life, love and its continuous unfolding qualities. Real, human and heart capturing it illustrates the inspiring arc we experience throughout our lives to find the sanity in the insanity. This is a must see! Click here for trailer.

As promised, in preparation for RML’s upcoming 1 Week Live Food Chef Certification* with Master Herbalist, Raw Food Chef & author Brigitte Mars, Raw Food Chef Juliano & ra’yoKa founder Rainbeau Mars, here are some amazing health facts about the potent superfood, chia and how best to incorporate these powerful seeds into your diet. I am also including one of my favorite chia seed recipes for you to enjoy and share with your loved ones! Be empowered, share the knowledge, spread the Love. The time is now!

Brief History of Chia

The common name, chia, derives from the Mayan chiabaan, meaning, “strengthening.” The native peoples of the American Southwest for endurance have long used chia seeds, where tribe’s people could run swiftly on a handful of chia seeds and a gourd of water. They are fast becoming a favorite for athletes today. Chia seeds have long been used used to correct constipation being rich in soluble fiber. They are considered an energy tonic that moistens the yin (fluids) of the body enhancing joint activity and sexual health.

Quick Facts about Chia

- Chia seeds are rich in omega-3 and 6 fatty acids – even more than flax.

- Chias are also rich in protein, (20% on a dry weight basis), vitamin B complex (especially niacin (B3) and riboflavin(B2), and biotin calcium, potassium and fiber.

- Chia contains immune activating mucopolysaccharides and the antioxidant quercetin.

- Chia helps to regulate blood sugar levels, thus curbing the desire to overeat.

- According to Asian Medicine, foods that are naturally black in color support the Kidneys and Bladder.

- Chia has more fiber than bran.

- Chia has 3 times more antioxidants than blueberries, 15 times more magnesium than broccoli, and 3 times more iron than spinach.

Chia Quick Prep Instructions

Soak one forth cup chia seeds in 1 to 2 cups pure water overnight and stir well to prevent the seeds from clumping. Allow to stand overnight on the counter or refrigerator. Add more water if needed.  The seeds do not need to be ground up in order to be digested, but if one suffers from diverticulitis, grind the amount you would consume in one day for even easier digestion.

How to Use Chia

One of my favorite ways to use chia is as a breakfast, snack or dessert pudding. Chia can also make a great vegan mock tapioca pudding with almond milk. Once you have soaked the seeds for a minimum of 15 minutes (in water, juice or nut milk), you can add chopped/dried fruit or berries, nuts/seeds/nut butters, and honey, agave or maple syrup. Be creative! Sometimes I even add raw chocolate or a raw chocolate spread with almond butter for that extra bit of decadence. Adding soaked chias to smoothies creates a thick, frothy smoothie or milkshake substitute. Chia seeds can also be added to crackers, cookies, granola, salads to add more nutrients, omega 3’s and fiber to recipes. Chia seeds + water can be used as a egg substitute in recipes.

My Favorite Chia Recipe

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 cup of vanilla almond/rice milk

1 cup of sliced strawberries

1 tbsp raw almond butter

1 tbsp raw chocolate spread/syrup (optional)

Maple syrup to taste

dash of cinnamon

dash of sea salt

Soak chia seeds in almond milk over night. Stir after first 10-15 of soaking minutes to break up any clumps, and then place in refrigerator overnight. The next morning, stir in a dash of cinnamon and maple syrup. Add sliced strawberries. Drizzle almond butter and chocolate syrup on top. Sprinkle with sea salt. Enjoy!

Exciting news as we all begin to set our intentions for an amazing New Year… With only two weeks left in 2010, how are you consciously preparing today for 2011? Are we going to live the same old year next year or will we become an active participant in designing our best life possible? Are we ready to take it all to the next level? Are we ready to overcome all obstacles and ascend our plateaus?

As of today, www.rayoka.com is live! We are so excited to announce the release of our downloadable ra-yoKa Teacher Training System, consisting of 11 hours of innovative content that will allow yoga and sports practitioners as well as teachers and trainers to become certified from their very own home. In addition, everyone who takes the course will receive some one-on-one Q & A Skype time with MOI :) . ra’yoKa, meaning “integration through the sun”, is a unique hybrid of martial arts movement and core conditioning. An important aspect of the Teacher Training System is understanding the inner workings and fundamental of yoga enhanced by evolutionary flow and sequencing, born from martial art movement and dynamic flow. The Teacher Training is a valuable method/asset for athletes and fitness enthusiasts looking to enhance their current athletic training and break through limitations. The mind is the most powerful tool that we have, so we can therefore, allow the break through of our limitations to be our biggest goal! When we work on our minds and bodies, we work on our lives, how we practice is how we live. So it’s time to get on the mat and work it out and in. :)

It is all possible, and Rainbeau Mars Lifestyles is here to support you! We have also made all the series level of the ra’yoKa Teacher Training available separately. Download Level Red for Foundation for the basics of practice and standing poses, Level Blue for Therapeutics to enhance the immune system (perfect for this time of the year) to support the thymus gland (the heart of the immune system) and nervous system and Level Orange for Detoxification, great time to detox and feel light as we move gracefully and seamlessly out of 2010 and into 2011. If not now then when?

Please take the time to visit www.rayoka.com.

80% of taking our practice to the next level is done by the foods we eat! On January 17 – January 23, we will be holding a Live Food Certification here in Los Angeles featuring Julliano who changed my life personally and my mothers, Brigitte Mars, herbalist, raw food author/chef, who I have watched grow younger and younger as the years go by. Give the gift that keeps on giving so we can heal ourselves and the people we love. There is only week left to sign up for the Live Food Certification at the reduced rate of $1000.00 (valued at $3500.00). Find out more at www.rainbeaumars.com.  All our courses our being expanded and supported by health leaders and experts, from M.D’s to college professors and founders.
