India – October 21, 2009

Aum

Duwali (A celebration as popular as Christmas is to Christians or Hanukah to Jews is Duwali to India) has just passed but it lingers on even days afterwards, with nightly fireworks and beauty and self-adornment prevalent in even the most sparse of conditions. It is an opportunity to celebrate and a time to rejoice and be grateful for what they do have. It is a celebration of the day that Ram and Sita and Ram’s brother came out of the jungle where they had lived for 14 years. It is in essence the return of their Gods.

Many of the locals say that yoga had become a lost art and they are glad that it is coming back and people are becoming healthy again while practicing. They could even go so far as giving thanks to the West for bringing this practice back to them. Nonetheless, the ideas and stories of God and Bhakti (devotion to a higher source) and how interwoven yoga is in every aspect of their culture definitely has not left.

I now feel even more grateful than before that we have the luxury of practicing and feeling good in our bodies, and that we may celebrate what we decide to contribute (or not) on this planet, rather then every day struggling to just survive, eat and feed our children, or vice versa. My choice is to practice more, then activate more, then realize more, and then give more. On and on and on.

Bon Jour from Paris

Omg- how French is Cam... ;) Thanks adidas- on to the next adventure. Notre Dame here we come.Allo,

I hope you are are dreaming about the infinite possibilities that exist.

I’m in a bit of a haze but committed to keeping myself up until this evening. Tomorrow I have a nonstop press day and the next day a teacher training. Work and more work. Thank Goodness I love what I do.

This was the first trip I have taken in many years in which tears dropped out of my eyes when I was leaving California. Somehow I feel that I will leave an old part of me on this trip and get to align with my even truer self once and for all. Dying is constant and little bits of ourselves fall away all the time. Each time we go to sleep, each time we let go savasana. On and on. We must let go of who we have become to be who we really are. This is simple, but it is not necessarily easy to trust in the unknown and steer forward rather then cling to the old.  SO, from my big self I say let’s head into the unknown…  We all are right.

Je’taime,

Rainbeau (arc-en-ciel)

May we listen to our hearts and easily understand right from wrong. Focus on the light – through the night – it will all be alright.

Salut! :) Namaste – France and India wrapped in One.

After... ;)

(This picture represents the raw/mask free spark that i rediscovered on my journey to France and India)

And so it is…

The night before I embark upon a trip to France, then India, then France again.

I am prepared with my Ascended Health probiotics, lots of warm shawls, plenty of chocolate covered green bars, flax crackers, Josie Maran sunscreen and lip gloss, my iPod, as much of the signature line as I could pack, my new boots, and a whole lot of excitement – with a little anxiety – and then back again.

Doing everything I can to be ready and possibly not sleeping to do all that I can – to feel, well, that I did everything I can. There are so many people that I meant to bring a new DVD to today and so many Thank You cards I still did not get to. This cycle of life is amazingly endless, how we remember, then forget, and then remember again.

Tomorrow I set off to remember, to listen to the breeze that once carried my Grandmere’s scent as a young woman in Paris. I am so grateful I get to work there with adidas and help launch the new gym and do what I love– teach yoga and share with people from my very core hopefully.

Then I will trace my Grandmere’s steps to a hotel where she once lived while helping Mother Theresa. I feel blessed to take this small (but huge) and adventurous trek on my own and will catch up with some friends outside of Delhi.

I surround my families and business in light, knowing that while so much of what we know is shifting, I will move into a deeper trust and knowledge of something that remains constant.

I will remember to breathe and will feel you all breathing with me.

I will remember that it is all connected– glamour, spirituality, fashion, depth. I will know that whatever it is that is in front of me is perfect and there for a reason that I must trust.

I thank you all for your love and support.

In reverence,

Abientot.

New Website!

WOW!  Thank you for coming to this new site and page!  If I could express to you how good it is to be able to bring this to you and have a direct connection with my community, I would use the words grateful, humbled, happy, supported, and in AWE!

In the year or so since I last wrote, I produced the first of what I hope to be many ra’yoKa DVD’s, hosted about ten events, and visited and activated at least four continents.

Enough about me.  Now the company, Rainbeau Mars Lifestyles, is in full activation mode.  I went from being managed to managing myself and expanding our brand with a whole team.  The one to the many.  I never thought of myself as running the company and I do my best not to.  However, day by day and breath by breath, I find that my passion to bring what I have dreamed about my whole life and have manifested and created within me out into the world by far outweighs my once sole desire to float through my life, even just on the mat.  I found myself brought to my knees and in tears because of the trials and tribulations of running a company and juggling the act of finding the right team, meeting deadlines, learning and expanding the use of my left brain, and teaching my always heart-in-the-right-place team.  When our mission here at RML is about serving and supporting the planet, how can we go wrong?  Yet, for everything I would invite one to do, I would only ask that I evolve, balance, and learn myself.  So I will admit to growing pains.  Thus the story of a life, a business, and a team that has expanded and grown into its third year.  We are now ready to deliver products and content, from my house and heart to your own.  We hope to be a direct link to you (our teachers and community that we are here to support) with the intention that we will be innovative, approachable, fresh, educational and reusable all in an easy-to-swallow, hip, and sometime hop, pill.  I am so grateful for the relationships that have been created and the things that I have learned about human dynamics in office relationships and ultimately, within myself.

The work that I do has inspired me to let go of all the hype and find my flow.  I don’t need to know how or why.  I just listen, love, work, and do it again, for what I do is my offering.  My team has been a nurturing, hard working, inspired and a rehired group of reflections that have helped us grow roots.  I see the fruit coming.  We will keep planting more seeds and just cleaning out the rubbish, rather than getting distracted by the fruit of our labor.  I LOVE GARDENING.  I have learned that all can flow correctly when we first do the work internally.  Thus, I find myself enjoying my free time with my best friend and daughter, Jade, and my beautiful garden with it’s sixty trees.  We planted:  avocado, pomegranate, pineapple, guava, persimmon, figs, cherimoya and lots of ficus, bamboo, and of course, everything citrus.  I planted everything myself since I bought this house.  They, too, seem like children.  FEED THEM WATER, LOVE, SOIL AND SUNLIGHT AND WATCH THEM GROW.  And lastly, I added a rock corner, that I like to walk in and get natural acupressure just by clearing out the dead leaves from the bamboo, which just happens to be in the wealth corner behind our yoga studio/converted office.

We are here to serve, to keep breathing though our fears, and to align with our greater intentions.  My specialty has always been in the realm of media, and although I find myself wanting to gravitate to my strengths, I have found much to work on with regards to my weaknesses.  I often teach a quote that was inspired by my favorite yoga guru, Chuck Miller, “What is in the way… is the way.”  So, we keep on doing it, day by day, lesson by lesson; breathe, believe and receive that which is in front of us.  :)

I hope that what we will bring to you will be refreshing content that can inspire and even enhance your life in as many ways as it has my own.  The team and all the people with whom I’ve crossed paths are really a part of making this endeavor possible.

Welcome – I want to say HOME – or maybe Aum.  Stay a while.  Let’s connect.  Let me know how I may support you on your journey to enhancing your most beautiful you.

RML – Your one-stop shop to enhancing your health and beauty from within.

Best,

Rainbeau
